S.C.E.S 4th graders were involved in a week-long American Flag Education Program before Christmas.  Mr. Darrell Hansel & Mr. Paul Schmitt recently announced the winners of that Program/Contest.  Fourth graders scoring 100% on the test received small monetary awards.  Those students are Josh Mills, Gracie White, Josh Reeves, and Lydia Lieland.  Students who scored 100% on the multiple choice portion of the test and composing outstanding essays regarding, “What the American Flag Means to Me” were Levi Curlin and Kortni Hite.  This work awarded Levi and Kortni a $50 check from the American Legion, who sponsors this contest each year!
