Winter McCready, a senior, has been named a Semi-finalist for her Letter to the Author contest entry about 2001: A Space Odyssey, written to Arthur C. Clarke. This Indiana contest is part of the Letters About Literature national initiative to promote reading and writing.
Kortni Hite, 4th grader, in Miss Eckerty's class was the winner of the Flag Education contest for the entire district. She was awarded $100 check from the contest sponsor, American Legion. The SCHS and SCMS Archery teams qualified for the Indiana State NASP Archery Tournament. They will be representing SCSC this Saturday in Indianapolis. There will be over 2000 archers shooting that day. Good luck Switzerland County!!

S.C.E.S. and Jeff-Craig participated in the 2015 Math Bowl. A great group of 4th, 5th, and 6th graders represented both schools with honor and dignity.
